First Place Award, SF Bay Flyway Festival Plein Air Exhibit

My paintings received First Place in the Flyway Festival Plein Air Exhibit, on display at historic Mare Island.

I and a painting partner painted en plein air , on location on Jan. 26th + 27th, painting the marshes and wetlands of the Northern SF Bay Area in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties. BRrrr! We painted winter wetland scenes accompanied by drizzling rain and gray clouds . . yet the light was luminous and it was a fun challenge.
