Morning at the Grove,oil,11x14

Morning at the Grovewas painted while I was set up in an abandoned date palm grove, near Anza Borrego State Park. The cool deep contrasts of the shadows, against the warm bright sandy ground, with graceful palm trees overhead .. .I'll go back and paint here again.
